School Closure

All schools in England have been closed for the majority of children since Monday 23rd April, but we are making childcare available for the children of critical workers and vulnerable pupils. You can find the government guidance on this, which includes the definition of a critical worker, here.

Talking To Your Children And Managing Anxiety

It is normal for both children and their parents to feel anxious and stressed at this difficult time.  While the school can't make any recommendations about managing mental health, we would like to share with you some resources which you might find helpful.

You can read advice from the Anna Freud Centre here

The NHS 'Every Mind Matters' website has suggestions for staying at home.  This is aimed at adults.

The following document from the University of Sussex may be useful when thinking about how to talk to your children about Corona Virus.

Home Learning

All children should now have received their photocopied home learning packs and have been issued with Google Classroom user names and passwords.  Teachers have started to put resources onto Google Classrooms for the children.  Teachers will now load a weekly set of resources onto their classroom each Monday.  The following documents may be useful.
