PE and Sports Premium

Each year, the school receives funding to help us achieve self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and sportsportsnst 5 key indicators:
- The engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity – kick-starting healthy active lifestyles
- The profile of PE and sport being raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement
- Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport
- Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils
- Increased participation in competitive sport

In 2025, the requirements for reporting changed. All primary schools now need to complete the digital expenditure reporting return for the PE and sport premium. The DfE states that “As a condition of grant all primary schools must publish a report, showing how they have spent their PE and sport premium funding allocation and the impact it has had, on the school’s website. You may choose to print copies of your submissions and upload them to meet this requirement.”
