Instrumental Tuition

iRock Music Lessons
We have partnered with iRock to offer group instrumental tuition, where children form a band and choose from either drums, keyboard, electric guitar or vocals. Lessons take place during the school day and there is a cost, which is charged to parents.
The weekly 30 minute band sessions happen within the school day. iRock supply all of the instruments. Band members are grouped by similar ages and year groups. Band sizes are capped at nine to ensure everyone receives the very best learning experience.
As a band, the children then pick their own band name and the songs they'd like to play. At the end of each term, bands perform a short concert. Children in years 2, 4 & 6 can work towards an exam free qualification with the RSL.
iRock band coaches are passionate about getting children inspired, sounding fantastic and making them feel like real musicians. iRock are dedicated to the building of confidence and wellbeing in children through being part of a band. They pride themselves as being active musicians who regularly play gigs and release their own music as part of a band or as a solo artist.
